Azik-Ka - Illusion (LP)

Illusion is a fantastic slow-burner of a second record from Azik-Ka–underrated French Guianese group led by Jean-Pierre Bonjotin. A totally engrossing mixture of Gwo Ka, Zouk, and Biguine from 1992. The whole record is great, but the title track and “Viré,” in particular, are very special.
