Trindade is a double LP that accompanied the release of the film,Trindade: Curto Caminho Longo by Luiz Keller and Tânia Quaresma. Together they comprise Project Trindade, which sought to document new trends in Brazilian music and society. Far-sighted and wide ranging, Trindade is at root a meditation on the relationship of Brazil’s vast musical traditions with practical experimentation in sound. It includes brilliant contributions from the likes of Joyce, Hermeto Pascoal, Egberto Gismonti, and Marcos Resende. Much of the film can be viewed on YouTube as well.
