Apples - Mind Twister (LP)

Very rare Nigerian cosmic funk LP produced by the one and only, Odion Iruoje. Too many good tunes to mention, with lots of variation too, but check in on “Deep Funk,” “Try Me,” and “Lay On The Ground” (all just on the A-side) for a sense of the group’s remarkable range. Tasteful synth post-production provided by Lemmy Jackson and Francis Monkman (Bruton Music…) over at Abbey Road Studios. This record should really get more attention.
