Eric Kol - Today (LP)

Standout solo album by veteran Nigerian songwriter and vocalist, Eric Kol. Assisted by Jake Sollo, Felix Lebarty, Chris Mba, Nicco Ossomba, and Friday Pozo. A couple huge, not to be missed,  boogie tracks on here (“Let Your Love Rule My World” and “You’re My Solution”) but the intervening tracks, especially “I Will Sing A Song” and “Let The Music Play,” are no less soulful. Much heat on this LP, in other words. Not an easy one to find in any condition (see cover), either.
