François Tusques - Intercommunal Music (LP)

François Tusques' 1971 Intercommunal Music features one of the more astonishing lineups of that period in the Parisian free jazz milieu, and pays tribute to the Black Panther Party, as Tusques would continue to do in various ways, throughout his career. Here we find him, in collaboration with the large ensemble, introducing a musical dimension to Huey Newton's concept of intercommunalism, through revolutionary jazz. Brilliant front to back.
