Ian Carr - Belladonna (LP)
Another masterpiece in British fusion. Nucleus reconstituted themselves under Ian Carr's leadership in 1972 with Belladonna (the plant that either cures or kills). Carr shines throughout, but Dave MaCrae (Matching Mole), Roy Babbington (Ovary Lodge), and Brian Smith on saxophone (and bamboo flute!) issue standout performances. The whole record smokes but highlights include "Suspension," "Summer Rain," and "Remadione."

Notes: Netherlands pressing. Sleeve has 2" lower edge split, faint sticker mark on back, otherwise looks great.
