Masaru Imada Quartet - Remember Of Love (LP)

Superb final release by the first-rate Masaru Imada Quartet, and Imada's last release for Three Blind Mice. "Maki" sees the quartet revisiting the title track of Imada's first solo LP, while "Sea Weeds" is a reprise of the version found on the Imada Trio's 1973 release, Poppy. While both are spectacular, the title track and "Little Step" almost steal the show. Everyone is at the height of their powers here: Mitsuaki Furuno on bass, Takuji Kusumoto on drums, Yuji Imamura on percussion, and Imada himself on synth, Rhodes, and piano.
