Tonihno Horta is someone whose fingerprints are nearly synonymous with MPB itself, but he’s rarely credited that way. Though aided by orchestral arrangements, Terra Dos Pássaros is a solo album in the truest sense, and it’s a tour through some of the absolutely gorgeous worlds Horta dreamt up through music in the late 70s. Should be listened to in full to be believed, but check the tracks below for a sample.
